The corporate headquarters of Terracon Consultants, Inc. is a two-story, 63,000-square-foot Class A office building located at 108th and Ridgeview Road in Olathe, Kansas. Terracon offers environmental, facilities, geotechnical, and materials services from over 140 offices serving all fifty states. The new corporate headquarters houses 190 employees. Each floor is 31,250 square feet in size and is connected by an open staircase and a two-story lobby. The building has a private balcony that overlooks a large outdoor patio and a pond. There are 4.5 parking spaces per 1,000 square feet on the property. The VanTrust-led design-build team of McCownGordon Construction and Finkle+Williams Architecture provided a new modern look that incorporates masonry, metal panels, and glass. The Design-Build Institute of America – Mid-America Region honored the project with the Excellence in Design Award, and the Kansas City Business Journal honored it with the Capstone Award for Office.
