The Residences at Park Place and Axis Lofts are located in the heart of Leawood, Kansas within the one-of-a-kind Park Place Village, a chic, mixed-use lifestyle development comprised of nearly a half-million square feet of office, boutique retail, and dining destinations. Cecil Van Tuyl was the owner of this development at its inception, which was the impetus behind the starting relationship between Dave Harrison and the Van Tuyl family, and the forming of VanTrust Real Estate.

Park Place development included multiple office buildings, including the world headquarters support center for AMC Theatres. Those inaugural projects were the catalyst to the first multifamily development in the VanTrust portfolio, offering residents luxurious, maintenance-free, and amenity-rich living in the heart of suburban Leawood with dining, shopping, and entertainment venues right outside their front door. Additional luxury amenities include a zero-entry saltwater swimming pool, sauna, outdoor trellises, and gourmet grilling areas complete with flat-screen televisions. For the convenience of its residents, this development offers a wellness center, laptop and coffee lounge, community and meeting rooms, and garage parking with direct elevator access.

In the final phase of Park Place, VanTrust developed the corporate headquarters building for Tortoise Capital simultaneously with the Park Place R3 Residences, which includes a 249-car parking garage structure. Amenities include a fitness center, coffee bar & kitchen, conference room, pool table, outdoor grilling station, and exterior fire pits.
