As Vice President of Development for VanTrust’s Columbus office, Phil Rasey’s primary responsibilities include the identification, evaluation, and execution of speculative development and build-to-suit opportunities in VanTrust’s primary asset classes. Coordination with municipalities, lease negotiations, and management of architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors are among his additional responsibilities. 

Phil has 15 years of leasing and development experience and extensive knowledge of construction, sales, leasing, and development. Phil has developed over 4 million square feet of institutional-grade office and industrial developments with a total value of over $250 million. His client-centric approach has generated value and performance for both tenants and ownership alike. He has coordinated the legal, financial and construction requirements for over 6.5 million square feet of office and industrial lease transactions. 

Phil graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management.
