With almost no industrial vacancy left in Northern Kentucky, VanTrust announced its plan to break ground on Park 536 in October 2015. Park 536 is a 567,350-square-foot speculative industrial building off Mount Zion Road in Boone County. VanTrust purchased the 45-acre site, which will have nearly 12 football fields of space under roof. The building is designed to be divided into as many as three demised spaces. Park 536 is less than one mile from Interstates 71 and 75 with easy access to the highway. It will have more than 330 parking spaces, 66 docks, four drive-in doors and surplus trailer parking. The property joins a growing list of industrial developments that have started in the Ohio Valley region. Previous speculative buildings in the area were quickly leased up, and Park 536 is expected to do well in the low-vacancy market. Delivery of the project is anticipated during the summer of 2016.
