As Vice President of Development Services for the Phoenix office of VanTrust, Joel is primarily responsible for the successful completion of VanTrust projects in the western region. Joel’s value-driven real estate solutions are based on his solid engineering and business foundations as well as his broad market experience. Throughout the design and construction phases, Joel also ensures that the budget, quality, and schedule objectives are met.

Joel has over 20 years of experience in commercial construction, design, and development. Joel gained experience at Opus West and Ryan Companies prior to joining VanTrust. There, he acquired extensive knowledge of all product types, such as commercial office, corporate build-to-suit, mixed use developments, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, and condominium.

Joel is a LEED Accredited Professional and an active member of the Phoenix NAIOP Chapter and the Purdue Alumni Association. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
