As Vice President of Development for VanTrust’s Kansas City office, Scott Hall’s primary responsibilities include the identification, evaluation, and execution of speculative development and build-to-suit opportunities in VanTrust’s primary asset classes. Coordination with municipalities, lease negotiations, and management of architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors are among his additional responsibilities.

Scott, a seasoned professional in the field of economic and community development, brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record to VanTrust. Prior to joining VanTrust, Scott spent nearly a decade at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. In his most recent roles as Senior Vice President for Civic and Community Initiatives and President of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Scott oversaw work on the KC Chamber’s community impact projects, including those in public health and workforce development. Prior to his time at the KC Chamber, Scott was a lawyer in the commercial real estate group of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, L.C. His extensive experience as a leader in the community, coupled with his deep understanding of the region’s economic landscape, positions him to significantly impact VanTrust’s endeavors.

Scott received his Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
