As Vice President of Development Services, Karl Ley is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of projects in a variety of product types and markets served by VanTrust Real Estate.

Karl has expertise in commercial development and construction for a wide range of product types, including office, industrial, retail, medical office, and multifamily residential. Prior to joining VanTrust, Karl oversaw project management for an integrated design-build company, where he was in charge of design management and project delivery. 

Karl is a licensed engineer and former president of the Kansas City Marquette Alumni Club. In 2008, the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) recognized Karl as a Designated Design-Build Professional. Currently, Karl serves on the board of the Kansas City Chapter of the National Institute of Construction Excellence (NICE).
