As VanTrust’s Vice President of Development Services, Dave Denley collaborates closely with the development team to plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee the successful delivery of projects. Dave is highly involved in the procuring, engagement, and oversight of third-party commercial contractors, designers, engineers, and consultants.

As the leader of Development Services for VanTrust’s National Accounts group, Dave is responsible for overseeing specific build-to-suit projects, developing new processes, procedures, and training for particular national accounts, and assisting the Development Services team in all VanTrust offices for National Account assignments.

Since 2003, Dave has worked in the real estate industry, utilizing his years of commercial construction and development experience across a wide range of product types to conduct site feasibility and due diligence studies, as well as to coordinate all aspects of design and construction. Dave is an accomplished leader in the real estate industry who has successfully completed a variety of projects for national, regional, and local clients in multiple markets.

Before joining VanTrust, Dave worked for McShane Construction Company in California and Illinois for nearly twelve years as a Preconstruction Manager and Project Manager. Dave additionally spent a number of years as the Project Manager for Catamount Constructors in Denver, Colorado. Dave graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, as designated by the U.S. Green Building Council, and a member of NAIOP. Dave possesses an Associate Constructor Certification (AC) from the American Institute of Constructors and is OSHA 30-hour certified. Additionally, he is a 2011-2012 graduate of the Young Professionals Group of the NAIOP-SoCal Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
