Nine-story, 275,000 square-foot office building with direct airport connectivity nears capacity with additions of healthcare and cybersecurity companies
VanTrust Real Estate, LLC, a full-service real estate development company, today announced it has signed two tenants at its SkyCenter One commercial office building in Tampa, Florida. The new tenants, Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc. and OPSWAT Inc., will occupy a combined three full floors of the 275,000-square-foot building.
Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc., a health maintenance organization for people enrolled in Medicaid, Medicare and Florida Healthy Kids programs, will transition from its current location to occupy the seventh and eighth floors of SkyCenter One. OPSWAT Inc., a Tampa-based cybersecurity company, is relocating its headquarters to the full ninth floor of the building. Both companies are expected to move in during Q3 of 2022.
Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc. and OPSWAT Inc. join the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, Avison Young – Florida, LLC, J.E. Dunn Construction Company, Flad & Associates, Inc. and WSP USA Inc. as SkyCenter One tenants. As the first commercial office building adjacent to Tampa International Airport (TPA), the facility is directly linked to TPA’s main terminal via the SkyConnect train. Additionally, an elevated pedestrian walkway connects the building’s atrium to the SkyConnect station at the airport’s rental car center.
“Between the airport’s rapid growth and the variety of restaurant and entertainment options nearby, SkyCenter One will serve as a premier and convenient location for corporations, their employees and visiting executives,” said Marc Munago, Executive Vice President, VanTrust Florida. “Interest in this office tower has remained robust. Achieving full occupancy – despite opening its doors less than a year ago – is within reach.”
The 275,000-square-foot office tower offers a variety of distinct features including a 1,291-space parking garage plus designated visitor parking, multiple conference centers, fully equipped fitness center, café with indoor and outdoor seating, and access to a rooftop amenity above the atrium. Following the additions of Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc. and OPSWAT Inc., SkyCenter One has space available on three floors for a total of approximately 32,400 square feet remaining in the building.
