VanTrust Names Phil Rasey Executive Vice President, Columbus

Phil Rasey (Columbus, OH)

Andy Weeks promoted to the executive leadership team, as the company celebrates 15 years of nationally recognized excellence in real estate development.

VanTrust Real Estate is pleased to announce the promotion of Phil Rasey to Executive Vice President in the Columbus office. In this new role, Rasey will lead all development efforts throughout the region, handling identification, evaluation, and execution of speculative and build-to-suit office, industrial, mixed-use, and multifamily projects. Rasey succeeds Andy Weeks, now part of VanTrust’s newly reorganized executive leadership team, recently announced during the company’s 15th-anniversary celebration.

“It has been a privilege to work alongside the exceptional team at VanTrust, whose dedication has not only fueled the company’s growth but has also made a meaningful impact in the communities we serve,” said Rasey. “I’m especially grateful for the mentorship of Andy Weeks, whose leadership has been instrumental in my professional growth. I look forward to building on our strong foundation and driving impactful development across the Ohio Valley Region.

Rasey brings more than 20 years of leasing and development experience to his new position, and extensive knowledge in construction, sales, leasing, and development. As Vice President of Development under Weeks, he oversaw the creation of several million square feet of office and industrial projects throughout the Midwest.

Weeks stated,” Having worked closely with Phil for several years, I’ve witnessed his successful delivery of multiple projects, exceptional leadership and ability to build strong relationships. His success and dedication make him the ideal leader to drive VanTrust’s continued growth and excellence in Columbus and the surrounding region.”

Weeks was recently named Chief Development Officer (CDO) for VanTrust. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, he founded VanTrust’s Columbus office and led the expansion of the company’s development efforts into multiple markets. Since opening in 2010, the Columbus office has developed 25 million square feet of industrial, office, multifamily, and mixed-use space, generating more than $2 billion in development activity. As CDO, Weeks will guide the strategic direction and execution of VanTrust’s real estate development efforts nationwide. He will remain based in Columbus.
