Today, VanTrust Real Estate, LLC (VanTrust), a leading real estate development company recognized as the 2023 Developer of the Year by NAIOP, has announced its plans to develop a 2 million square foot building at the Interstate West industrial park near Savannah, GA for Burlington Stores Inc. (NYSE:BURL). This build-to-suit warehouse will be VanTrust’s largest in the Southeast region to date.
This is the fourth and final project on the 515-acre, state-of-the-art industrial park that first broke ground in 2021. The park is conveniently located with immediate access to Interstate 16. It is situated just 22 miles from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Port of Savannah, and a short two-mile distance from the Hyundai EV facility. Buildings A and B, measuring 637,868 square feet and 992,000 square feet respectively, are completed and available now. Building C, encompassing 1,157,333 square feet, has been leased to The Webstaurant Store, Inc. Construction for Building D started in the fall of 2023 and is expected to be finished by May 2025.
