VanTrust to Start Seventh Speculative Project in New Albany

Continues to build momentum in this prime Central Ohio location

VanTrust Real Estate, LLC. will break ground in the coming weeks on its seventh speculative project in New Albany, its tenth in New Albany overall. Located on 22.4 acres within the New Albany Tech Park at 12550 Jug Street NW at the intersection of Jug Street and Clover Valley Road, the 302,400 square-foot industrial building will be designed to facilitate either single-tenant or multi-tenant occupants. The project is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2026.

VanTrust began development of projects in the New Albany area in 2019, with the completion of a 302,000 square-foot modern bulk distribution center subsequently leased by Hims Inc. in early 2020. Building on that success, other projects followed, , featuring buildings from 234,000 to 768,000 square feet within the New Albany International Business Park. VanTrust most recently completed a significant project in December 2024, delivering a 1.2 million square-foot facility for DSV, a leading global company in the transport and logistics sector based in Denmark.

“We continue to demonstrate incredible momentum in the New Albany area, which demonstrates the extraordinary interest we have seen in this region as a prime location for business development,” said Brice Harrison, director of development at VanTrust. “New Albany is an exciting place for companies to grow, and we value our partnership with the City. We are eager to bring new companies to this thriving community, and excited to see the tenants this building will attract as the project progresses.”

RED Architecture will design the building, with Elford Construction the general contractor and JLL the listing agent. EMH&T has been appointed as civil engineer.
