VanTrust Real Estate, LLC (VanTrust), a full-service commercial real estate development company, has added Kiran Shivaramu as senior director of development services.
VanTrust has a strong presence in major Texas markets such as Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, San Antonio, Austin and Houston. Shivaramu will be based in VanTrust’s Dallas office, and his background in design, construction and owner representation will enable him to plan, direct, coordinate and supervise the effective delivery of VanTrust projects in close collaboration with the development team. Shivaramu has extensive experience working on mixed-use, office, retail, hospitality, education and healthcare projects.

Shivaramu has more than 24 years of commercial design and construction experience. His projects have won the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Design-Build Merit Award, the Associated General Contractors of Texas’s Outstanding Construction Award and the TEXO Summit Award. TEXO combines the two largest national construction associations in North Texas and East Texas.
His professional affiliations include the U.S. Green Building Council, which promotes sustainability in all aspects of the building process, and the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), which patented Lean Project Delivery System™ (LPDS) tools maximize value and minimize waste throughout the design and construction process.
Shivaramu earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from India’s RV College of Engineering and his master’s degree in construction engineering and management from Iowa State University. Additionally, he earned his graduate finance certificate from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
