As Vice President of Development Services in VanTrust’s Jacksonville office, Mike Jones is responsible for evaluating build-to-suit and speculative development opportunities throughout the Southeast region. He is a highly regarded strategist with over 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. Mike has been the driving force behind highly successful projects in the multifamily, office, industrial, healthcare, and assisted living sectors. Also included in his portfolio are developments for commercial airports, military projects, and student housing.

Mike is a trusted collaborator, advisor, and decision-maker with expertise in design coordination, estimating, preparing bids and proposals, cost and schedule control, contract negotiation, project management, and construction administration.

Mike holds a State of Florida Certified General Contractor license and a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from the University of North Florida.
