As Senior Director of Development Services for VanTrust in Salt Lake City, Cory Abeel collaborates closely with the development team to ensure the successful delivery of projects for a wide range of product types. Cory is highly involved in the procuring, engagement, and oversight of third-party commercial contractors, designers, engineers, and consultants.

Prior to joining VanTrust, Cory has over 15 years of experience and has helped develop over 1,000 multifamily units across several communities, 500,000 SF of commercial tenant improvement, and managed construction projects across the country. Utilizing his years of commercial construction and development experience across a wide range of product types, Cory has seen projects through from inception to hand off to the end users. In addition to project management and engineering, he is also a licensed commerical general contractor in both California and Utah.

Cory received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from California State University.
