Sean Randall-Thompson joined the VanTrust acquisitions and dispositions team in May of 2024.  As Manager of Acquisitions, Sean’s role focuses on the identification, evaluation and underwriting of investment and development opportunities for the VanTrust portfolio. Sean’s responsibilities include financial modeling, valuation analysis, acquisition due diligence, deal structuring and transaction execution, from pursuit through closing.

VanTrust pursues core-plus and value-add acquisition opportunities – representing all major commercial real estate sectors – in excellent locations.  Typical transactions include repositioning challenged assets, maximizing value on the initial purchase of stabilized assets and opportunistic redevelopment.

Sean brings a wealth of experience in commercial real estate, corporate accounting, and financial services. He has a strong background in tenant and landlord representation, cost segregation, and CRE capital markets. Previously, Sean worked at CBRE in Kansas City, where he excelled in advisory and transaction services, representing clients in complex commercial leasing deals and capital markets transactions.

Sean earned his Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Finance from the Radford University in Virgina and then went on to complete the CPA Exam in 2021.
