As Vice President of Development Services for VanTrust’s Science and Technology division, Jeff Turk is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects in all regions, product types, and markets served by VanTrust Real Estate. Jeff joined the company in 2011, previously serving as the Development Services lead for the Kansas City region.
Jeff has more than 30 years of commercial development and construction experience in various product types, including office, industrial, medical, manufacturing, hospitality, housing, military and institutional. He has successfully completed projects utilizing every delivery method in numerous national markets. Prior to joining VanTrust, Jeff was the Vice President of Operations for a large commercial general contractor, where he was responsible for regional bottom-line results.
Jeff has written articles and spoken to numerous groups on the principles and benefits of the design-build delivery method and has been an instructor for DBIA’s designation program. In 2004, Jeff was recognized by the DBIA as a Designated Design-Build Professional. He has worked on over 30 design-build projects, including the award-winning headquarters projects for Polsinelli, Burns & McDonnell, Kiewit, and Creative Planning. In 2019, Jeff was recognized as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) by the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM). CPM is the premier real estate management certification worldwide, IREM’s highest and most advanced designation.
The U.S. Green Building Council has recognized Jeff as a LEED Accredited Professional. He has worked on more than 15 green building projects, including multiple LEED Gold and award-winning projects.
