TJ Hawks joined the VanTrust acquisitions and dispositions team in April 2022. He brings more than 19 years of commercial real estate experience including 13 years at Valbridge Property Advisors and five years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was a Region Lead overseeing operations of a ten-state, five-office region. 

As Vice President of Acquisitions, TJ’s role focuses on the identification, evaluation and underwriting of investment and development opportunities for the VanTrust portfolio. TJ’s responsibilities include financial modeling, valuation analysis, acquisition due diligence, deal structuring and transaction execution, from pursuit through closing. 

VanTrust pursues core-plus and value-add acquisition opportunities – representing all major commercial real estate sectors – in excellent locations. Typical transactions include repositioning challenged assets, maximizing value on the initial purchase of stabilized assets and opportunistic redevelopment.
