As Assistant Controller for VanTrust Real Estate, Drew Unruh is responsible for supporting accounting and finance operations across the business. This includes internal and external reporting, internal control application, budgeting, project accounting, financial modeling and debt analysis and compliance. 

Prior to joining VanTrust in 2022, Drew worked for YRC Worldwide, Inc. in Overland Park, Kansas, for three years. Drew spent two years at Ernst & Young in Kansas City, Missouri, prior to joining YRC. Drew earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Kansas State University. In 2017, he also earned a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and is a Certified Public Accountant.
