As Assistant Controller for VanTrust Real Estate, Drew Unruh is responsible for supporting accounting and finance operations across the business. This includes internal and external reporting, an internal control application, budgeting, project accounting, financial modeling, and debt analysis and compliance.

Prior to joining VanTrust in 2022, Drew spent almost 3 years with YRC Worldwide, Inc. in Overland Park, KS. Prior to joining YRC, Drew worked for 2 years at Ernst & Young in Kansas City, MO. Drew graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree of Science in Accounting and Finance. He also received a Masters of Accountancy (MAcc) in 2017 and is now a Certified Public Accountant.
