Dave Denley

Vice President, Development Services

As Vice President of Development Services for VanTrust, Dave works closely with the development team to plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee the successful delivery of VanTrust projects. Dave is highly involved in the procuring, engagement, and oversight of third-party commercial contractors, designers, engineers, and consultants.

As Development Services leader in the National Accounts group for VanTrust, responsibilities include the oversight of specific build-to-suit projects, structuring new processes, procedures, and training for specific national accounts, as well as assisting the Development Services team in all the VanTrust offices for the National Account assignments.

Working in the real estate industry since 2003, Dave incorporates his years of commercial construction and development experience across a wide variety of product types to conduct site feasibility and due diligence studies as well as coordinate all aspects of design and construction. Dave is an accomplished real estate leader who has successfully completed a wide range of projects for national, regional, and local clients in multiple markets. Dave effectively builds and leads project construction management teams through the design, preconstruction, and construction phases.

Prior to joining VanTrust, Dave spent nearly twelve years as a Preconstruction Manager and Project Manager with McShane Construction Company in California and Illinois. Dave also spent several years as Project Manager for Catamount Constructors in Denver, Colorado. Dave is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He is recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional and is involved with NAIOP. Dave holds his Associate Constructor Certification (AC) through the American Institute of Constructors and is OSHA 30- hour certified. He is also a graduate of the NAIOP-SoCal Commercial Real Estate Development Association’s Young Professionals Group, Class of 2011-2012.
