Cindy Aitken

Office Manager, Executive Administrator

Cindy Aitken is our Office Manager and Executive Administrator, with expertise in Human Resources and Administration. Cindy’s primary responsibilities at VanTrust include those that enable our team and office to operate effectively and efficiently. She is responsible for ongoing office operations, procedures and resources. In addition, Cindy serves as executive assistant to VanTrust President, Dave Harrison.

Cindy has nearly twenty years of experience in the field of human resources. Significant career assignments prior to joining VanTrust include positions with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City as Director, Corporate Education & Training, Corporate Divisions HR Manager, and Professional Staffing and College Relations Manager. She has also held positions in the HR functions of Baxter Healthcare in Chicago and Tenneco, Inc. in Houston. Most recently, Cindy did human resources consulting work with a Kansas City based firm. She considers her most compelling experience to date spending several years as a full-time mom.

Cindy graduated with the highest of honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She also graduated from the University of Kansas Hallmark/KU Executive Leadership Program. She has been a member of the Midwest College and Rocky Mountain College Placement Associations, former chair of Shawnee Mission School District College Clinic Program, as well as founding member for the Learning & Development Best Practices Organization.
