VanTrust is pleased to announce New Albany 315, a new building situated inside the master-planned New Albany International Business Park, one of the fastest-growing industrial parks in the Midwest. VanTrust recently broke ground on the 315,385-square-foot Class A industrial speculative building located at 8950 Smith Mills Road in New Albany and signed Takeya USA before a shovel touched the dirt. Takeya USA, a California-based active fitness brand that specializes in insulated water bottles and hydration solutions for people on the go, is planning to use 120,369 square feet as a distribution center.
“The industrial market in New Albany continues to attract top brands looking for premier logistics and distribution space,” said Phil Rasey, Vice President at VanTrust. “We are thrilled that Takeya USA chose this building in New Albany.”
“After an in-depth analysis of the market, the VanTrust building in New Albany was an easy choice,” said Ken Tran, President and CEO of Takeya USA, “VanTrust has been great to work with during the entire process and we are looking forward to moving into this state-of-the-art building.”
Scheduled for a December 2021 delivery, New Albany 315 will meet ECOS standards, including a TPO roof, precast walls, and LED lighting. The building has 195,016 square feet of remaining lease space available.
Corna Kokosing is the building contractor while RED Architecture handled the design. Jeff Lyons of CBRE Columbus is the listing agent.
