Rickenbacker Exchange Building 2 is a 1,194,000-square-foot, Class A, industrial speculative building in the Village of Commercial Point, the largest speculative building developed in terms of square footage in Central Ohio in 2022 and the biggest VanTrust has built in the region to date. Positioned on 88 acres with easy access to all major interstates and exchanges, including Interstates 70, 270, and 71. Rickenbacker Exchange 1194 features 40-foot clear height, 8-inch floor slabs, 4 drive-in doors, 120 docks (with space for 160 more) and 728 parking spaces as well as a very attractive 15-year, 100% tax abatement.
HanesBrands Inc., maker of everyday apparel known by consumers around the world, signed a long-term lease before the building’s completion. Project construction was managed by Pepper Ohio, a subsidiary of Pepper Construction Group, in partnership with RED Architecture as leading project designer and VanTrust as master developer. Colliers International represented the lease-up of the building.
